RetCo is in the front line of national efforts to replace older forms of electric generation with new forms of renewable generation, such as wind, solar, small hydro, geothermal and biomass. RetCo assists renewable generation developers by providing high voltage transmission connections to their customers. RetCo does this either through developing, financing and operating multi-user transmission assets, or by assisting generation developers undertake their own, dedicated transmission facilities. 

The cornerstone of our development philosophy is to work closely with utility and generation developer customers, with Federal and State regulatory agencies and – most crucially - with the communities that host our own and our customers transmission and generation facilities.
