West Desert Express

RetCo is managing the West Desert Express Project on behalf of West Desert Express Transmission LLC. The West Desert Express Project is a new 150 mile 230kV transmission line that will connect together the major grid systems of Utah and Nevada.

Trans West Express

Basslink Project

The principals of RetCo were responsible for the successful development (2002- 2003) of the Basslink Project, a 220 mile, $700m, subsea HVDC transmission project connecting Tasmania with mainland Australia. Basslink remains the largest operational merchant transmission project in the world, as well as the second longest subsea transmission cable.
